Amazon Best Seller Analysis: Home Office & Accessories

The analysis creates a leaderboard of brands with products that spent the most time in the Best Sellers list for the given time period through a KPI we call the Presence Rate; the higher it is, the better.

1-Amazon Basics: This brand is the leader of the category. With 47 products, Amazon Basics has been present on Amazon for a total of 2231 days among the Top 100, when the average for all the other brands put together is 583. Its Top performing product is Amazon Basics Padded, Ergonomic Desk Chair, present for 86.9% of the year on Amazon and priced at  $92.6 on average. However, the average price by the brand is $76.7. The brand has bagged an average rating of 4.4 for the year 2020.

2- Furinno: Second on the list of the Top 4 brands in the Office Furniture & Accessories category is Furino. The latter has the second-highest number of products present in its category on Amazon US, capturing the shelf for a total of 2116 days, and an ASP of $44.5. Its top-performing product is Furino’s Open Shelf Bookcase and present for 60.9% of the year on Amazon. Furino’s presence rate by the brand is seen to be 100% which means there was at least one Furino product appearing on page one on Amazon US throughout the year.

3- Taotronics: Placing third on the list of the Top 4 brands in the office furniture category is Taotronics. With 14 best selling products, Taotronics has been present on Amazon US for a total of 1189 days, with a presence rate of 100%. This brand has an ASP of $42.9 and its top-performing item on Amazon is TaoTronics LED Floor Lamp.

4- Bestoffice: With an average selling price of $71.3, and 20 best-selling products, that accounts for only 1.6% share of voice in the top 30 best selling products’ list in this category. It is super interesting to see how Bestoffice has managed to earn itself the fourth position in the top 100, and total presence days in best sellers of 1002 day. This brand’s winner product on Amazon US is Ergonomic Office Desk Chair.
